Women on Wednesdays, Mona Lena Krook - “Elect Women for a Change”
Dr. Krook will discuss her forthcoming book, Elect Women for a Change: The Path to Gender Parity in Politics, which makes a clear and compelling case for why gender parity in politics still matters and how it can be achieved. Drawing on research from around the world, the book moves beyond counting women to focus on power, voice, and diversity, identifying the structural barriers that hold women back and the practical strategies that can move democracies closer to parity.
